UNDER REVIEW following the update to the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Act - June 2026

Computers are a part of everyday life.  At Newberries Primary School we encourage the use of computing for learning and fun.  However, we know that we need to stay safe online because modern technology keeps changing. Sometimes changes make things better, sometimes these changes mean that there are new risks. To support our understanding of being safe in the online world, all pupils should read and sign our E-safety Agreement. 

We should know and understand that different apps online have different age restrictions. This means that certain things online are age specific. Did you know that YouTube is recommended for 13 years old and above? No? This is why we should use YouTube Kids. Did you also know that TikTok is for 13 year olds and Whatsapp is for 16 year olds?
