How do I find out about what my child is learning?
Curriculum Overview
At the beginning of the year a Curriculum Overview is produced for each class, summarising the curriculum. Each term a Curriculum Leaflet is made available, which offers further details on the curriculum for that term and opportunities planned for the children. These can also be found on our Class Pages.
Blogs
These are produced each week by class teachers and published on our website. Please take a look at these! They are a brilliant opportunity to get your child talking about their week at school!
Parent Consultations
Two Parent Consultation evenings are held during the school year to offer you the opportunity to meet with your child’s class teacher to discuss their progress and next steps. In addition, we operate an 'Open Door Policy'. This encourages parents to arrange a meeting at a mutually convenient time with teaching staff after school, to discuss any concerns or ask any questions they may have about their child’s learning. At the end of each academic year, a report is written summarising your child's achievements and areas to work on together.
