The Newberries RE Curriculum strives to:

• Provide high quality learning, knowledge and understanding of religions and beliefs forming part of contemporary society, developing spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
• Illustrate that our wider community is a multi-cultural society populated with many different faiths, religions and beliefs and how we can learn to be respectful citizens.
• Follow our school values through monthly assemblies and learn how these can be implemented in our daily lives as well as our community.
• Aid children as they prepare for life and how they can relate to others regardless of race, religion or ethnicity.
