  • Christmas Jumper Day

    Fri 09 Dec 2022

Christmas Jumper Day is Save the Children's annual event which raises money for children in the UK and across the world. Every December, millions of people across the United Kingdom (and beyond!) put on a festive outfit at their workplace, school or with friends and make a donation to help give children the magical future they deserve. Since 2012, millions of people have put on their jazziest jumpers for one day in December, donated £2 to Save the Children, and helped make the world better for children. Today, the Newberries school community did just this! If you would like to donate £2 towards this amazing cause, you can do so by clicking on this link. https://www.savethechildren.org/us/ways-to-help/ways-to-give This year, the UK government has promised that every time £2 is given to Save the Children, the Government will give £2 too!

We are so proud of all of our pupils, who showed amazing compassion, empathy and understanding when learning about ‘Save The Children’ charity creating place mats for their Christmas dinner to reflect this charity

  • Reception Nativity

    Mon 05 Dec 2022

Reception Nativity was very special and heartwarming, just what we all needed to get ourselves into the Christmas spirit! Thank you to all staff who supported the children to do so well and thank you to all parents and guardians, who came into school to see the performance. We hope that you enjoyed it as much as we did!
